Legal Counsel to Legal & Integrity

You will be part of Legal & Integrity, which is part of Corporate in Västerås. The legal function provides its services to all local business units and the corporate function within ABB Sweden.

Challenge: Are you tempted by the possibility to work close to the business, often in projects and always with focus on service? At the Legal department we assist Swedish ABB units with legal issues connected to their business. As our new Legal Counsel your work will contain great variety and you will deal with both issues that are quickly solved and more comprehensive projects. The business units will seek your advice throughout the tender process up to project completion, which may include areas such as contract law, competition law and intellectual property law. You can count on taking on exciting challenges and large projects that cover a broad spectrum of legal issues. 

Requirements: To apply, you need a Swedish or foreign law degree. To be successful as our new coworker we believe you have at least seven years’ experience from a similar position. Today, you are probably working with international business law at a company or a law firm. Your previous positions have turned you into a skilled negotiator who are used to working with complex projects. On the same note, you are communicative and have the ability to express yourself well, both in Swedish and English. Any additional language skills are qualifying. On a personal level, you are a team player who appreciates working close to your coworkers in an international environment. At the same time, you do not hesitate to work on your own and you are a problem solver by nature who enjoys coming up with creative solutions. You thrive when you are given the chance to satisfy your interest in business and technology through work.
